…is making me giggle. Not just because it means I *might* get to see a Jets game for the first time in two weeks. But instead, because people have stopped caring that much. Where’s all that team support win or lose I was told existed? I’m sure there are still some who are putting on that jersey and waiving their hands at the TV week after week (Strawberry Twin, I’m looking at you) and to those go to applauds and praise but…massively, it feels like everyone has given up. I watched my Twitter feed last week talk about how the Bengals were going to lose the big game at the Colts last weekend…from midweek. I was rooting for them, at least. The media is covering how much the Bengals suck. Not a forecast against the Bills or coverage of anything NFL. No, how much they’re on the decline and what needs to be changed for them to win. Well, let’s change the whole “we lost 7 games, now we suck feeling long-term.”
Come on Cincinnati, don’t make me be the one rooting for the Bengals. Cause I kinda am. They’ve still got a chance at a winning season. Let’s get behind that, yeah? I mean, don’t make me buy a Bengals jersey. They are on super discount but still…let’s have some class, Cinti.
Damnit, I think I’m rooting Bengals until 2011. Damnit.
