No-Clothes Month?
Last weekend, I spent a good amount of money on clothes (just like every weekend…). The weekend before, I did too. I spend money on clothes really weekly—enough that I have a budget for it. Unfortunately, my closet doesn’t grow in size along with those purchase. So for me, I’ve initiated a no clothes buying month from March 20th to April 20th. Why? A few reasons:

Christian Lacroix
Looking through The Outnet.com to see what I could find out about the upcoming Louboutin sale on Wen, I fell in love with a bunch of Christian Lacroix dresses. Oh, to win the lottery and not be fat.
LOVE this dress. Reminds me of ModClothes meets Oscar de la Renta prints.
Absolute love. They have a few Lela Rose tops that are cute but still too overpriced for a simple cloth shirt.

Healthcare Ramblings
I’m a politically minded person. I go in and out of bouts of it. Around major elections, I become enveloped by MSNBC and poll reporting. In non-major years, I fall out of it a bit. However, the health care bill drama is dragging in me in. Three major thoughts I’ve been feeling recently.
1. In a country with a higher infant death rate than Singapore, where more die yearly from strep...

What the heck is up with people saying that this is going to cost us 10% of our income? Do they think we’re getting health care at no charge right now? Or for less than 10%? And why does it seem that every blind conservative is on facebook? This is why I don’t check facebook right now.
However, I am looking forward to qualifying for health insurance and being able to start a family...

Shoes, Shoes!
I’ve been all about shoes recently. I realized I don’t have nearly as many as I thought I did. As a result, show shopping need commence. This was all started by this shoe:
Ollie 2 Part Wooden Clog - Topshop - $85
I want comfort that screams summer to me, like this floral and bright heel:
Born Hydrangea Sandal - Nordstrom - $118.95
Something that screams “Summer,...

Eccentricity: A Positive Change in Life →
SO I found out today that my fourth (and final) application into my school’s graphic design program was AGAIN denied… and of course, because it is “full.” Maybe they should stop taking on so many freshman that have to take a shit ton of general classes first anyways and then let THEM suffer…
I’m so glad your not emo-rific about it and the like. I have a lot of friends who this...

Nanette Lapore
When I win the lottery (which, you know, I’m expecting any day now), wild horses will not be able to keep me from purchasing an obscene amount of Nanette Lapore.
Spin-Me-Right-Top: I love the cut on this. One touch breasts, one touch work friendly. The little puff on the sleeves makes it even more friendly for us bigger gals.
Sea Maiden Sheath Dress: I’m not dying over the...

Awesome Blog Alert
So, my best friend from high school, college, everything, etc. has this phenomenal blog that I just happened to stumble upon today. It’s called Fashionista New York Girl and is really cool. Lots of phenomenal outfits (because Heather just can’t help but make it happen), fashion eye candy and basically functions as a list of things I’d wanna buy if I hit the lottery.

Mornings
As much as I love everything else I do on the weekends—from appointments, to shopping, to cleaning—I think the best part of every weekend is the morning.
In that fragile time period where I wake up, before Michael’s gotten out of bed…everything is quiet. I open the blinds a bit, slide the sliding open a crack—that cats go running to greet whatever whether is...

Three Candles For Wish Spell?
I use something very similar to this as a good omen for a happy house cleansing ritual I read about in Real Simple. Funny how religions and pop culture can tie together. Try it out and let me know how it goes for any of you!
Put three candles in the highest place you have at home, inside a plate with sugar all around the candles. Light the candles. Ask for three wishes to your guardian...

Resolutions and Admittance
A few of the things that I’m working on or looking to get ahead of.
1. Personal Website: I went and bought a domain and hosting a few weeks ago. I have still yet to get the website out there. I know, I know: I suck at life. I’d love to get it done sooner than later. I keep trying and then something bigger gets in the way.
2. Yoga and Exercise: I have had the hardest time getting into...
